Miranda Mac Letten has a 1st class Hons degree from London Contemporary Dance School. After graduating she became an apprentice for Punchdrunk, performing in their collaboration with The English National Opera, “The Dutchess of Malfi”. She has continued to work for Punchdrunk on productions such as “The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable” and “Sleep No More”, Shanghai. Interactive and immersive theatre have heavily featured in Miranda’s career.
She has worked with Lucy Ridley Associate Creative director for Secret cinema on productions such as ‘Blade Runner, final cut’and ‘Back To The Future’, but also for a collective Lucy established called The People Pile on multiple occasions, similarly she works for Gideon Reeling a company that produces one off immersive events performing and costuming projects.
Along side performing Miranda has founded her own company Kerfuffle Dance. she has specialised in creating, casting, and costuming performance opportunities for dancers in immersive events work. Mostly based in London, the performances are funded by commercial opportunities and collaborations.
Miranda is also a keen actress, she has worked for theatre company Shared Experience “Mermaid” and Bold Tendencies “Titus Andronicus” in association with Parkour UK.
Other companies she has worked with include David Lloyds Mischief company, John Ross Dance, Shaper/Caper, Etta Ermini Dance Theatre, James Cousins Company, Runhoratio, C-12 Dance Theatre, and Bicycle Ballet.
Miranda performs in Protein’s (In)visible Dancing and co-delivers Protein’s Real Life Real Dance project, working with young people excluded from mainstream education.
