An intergenerational cast of community dancers celebrates the outdoors through a series of ordinary and extraordinary situations. Weather changes and generational differences create the backdrop for this unique example of dance theatre for everyone.

First performed on the main stage of the West Yorkshire Playhouse, as part of the second community dance festival Dansopolis, Alfresco was created over six weekends during summer 2005 with 35 local performers aged 2 to 70.
